Courtney and Meredith Rabalais grew up in Tallahassee, FL and were high school sweethearts. They were married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Cole, in December 2007. Three additional children quickly followed, Hadley (2009), Harper (2011) and McKinley (2012). As their kids approached school age, they wanted an alternative in education that allowed them to be the primary influence in their young children's lives. They discovered Legacy Community Academy and immediately knew it was the place for them, with one slight problem - the 35 mile commute from their home in Atlanta to the school in Alpharetta. So, through God's prompting, they reached out to LCA and began the journey of planting an intown campus in the heart of Buckhead. Although the process took several years (during which they made the 35 mile commute), God made every detail fall together, and in 2016, LCA-Atlanta was birthed. Never in a million years did Courtney and Meredith think they'd be a part of starting a school. However, as they've learned, Jesus writes the best stories and often calls His people to do things they never even dreamed. They will tell you, He has done abundantly, exceedingly more than they could have ever asked or imagine in and through LCA-Atlanta.
